My intention was to make a mosaic of sorts of election night photos (from my phone) and post them, but I used up my alloted time for blogging on figuring out image software. So, you'll have to check them out on Flickr.
So, yeah, Obama won. Wasn't that great? Today I was amazed at how many people I see still wearing Obama apparel. It's almost as if wearing Obama '08 shirts and hats has transitioned from, "I hope he gets elected and you should vote for him" to, "I love my president in the same way I love a sports team." I spent a large portion of today wondering how long it will last and if any other presidents had such a fashion impact. I mean, I don't remember anyone wearing Clinton or Bush t-shirts. Anyone. Ever. I asked my housemate if he knew anything about this, thinking maybe JFK inspired fashion. His reply was - in an only half-joking manner - "they didn't have t-shirts then." And, also, "JFK killed the fedora." Which is true to some extent. Weird.
Obama outfits it is then, I suppose.
